2. Hosting, server log files and email

This website and our mailbox (“Private Email” service) are operated by Namecheap, Inc. (USA). When you visit the pages, technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page visited, browser type) is processed in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website.

Namecheap processes this data as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR on the basis of its Data Processing Addendum. According to that agreement, transfers to the USA are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

3. Request form and email

When you contact us via the request form or by email, we process your details (name, company, email, phone, material, quantity, message and uploaded drawings) to handle your request and prepare a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

Form details and drawings are sent to us by email and are not stored on the web server. To prevent abuse (spam, too many requests), the server briefly stores a pseudonymised check value of your IP address with the time of the request; entries older than one hour are no longer taken into account (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We treat technical drawings as confidential and do not pass them on to third parties.

4. Cookies

Technically necessary: when you submit the request form, a session cookie (PHPSESSID) is set. It is used solely to protect the form against abuse and is deleted when you close your browser. We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (entry “at-consent”, 12 months). The legal basis is Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC as implemented nationally, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; no consent is required for this.

Only with your consent: Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_CXWCLWCYZR, stored for up to 2 years), see section 5. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the “Cookies” link in the footer; the analytics cookies are then deleted.

5. Web analytics with Google Analytics

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics is only loaded after you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. Information about your use of the website (e.g. pages visited, time spent, approximate location, device and browser information) is then processed. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; advertising features and Google Signals are disabled.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR). 6. Fonts and external content

The fonts used are stored locally on our server; no connection to Google Fonts is made. Apart from Google Analytics (only after consent), no third-party content is loaded; no maps or videos are embedded. The “Open in Google Maps” link on the contact page only takes you to Google after you click it; Google’s privacy policy applies there.

7. Retention

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. commercial and tax law).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) or the authority in your country of residence.
